Do we have any sort of a plan? Our month-by-month schedule went off the rails mid-year, but it was a good idea. I will have limited time for serious reading before the end of May, but I would love to talk about Wolf Hall over the summer.
I take it you made it home safely then, Sister?I be getting a copy of Wolf Hall.
I'm still plodding through Middlemarch. In the last couple of days being sick has meant more time to read, so I'm almost at the halfway point. I'll be up for Wolf Hall as soon as my Middlemarch adventure is over.
Wolf Hall sounds good. Off to hunt a copy. Sister Betty, do you want to update our list?
+JMJ+ I'm still in the middle of Middlemarch, as well. The rereading may be slow, but it's edifying.
Should we keep on with Middlemarch through February then, and start Wolf Hall in March?
Yes. I'll be keeping on with Middlemarch through February. I'm hopeful that by March I will be done.
I am sorry to be so lame-o. Brendan has been listening to Middlemarch on his commute, so I've been keeping up through his summaries. I did look up Wolf Hall, but it's out at my library right now, so I'm waiting. Last year I read a new novel called Rules of Civility that I really enjoyed, and I just had a chance to flip through it again while Brendan was reading it. I know we have the reading schedule up, but if anyone is looking for another good read for their spare time, check out Rules of Civility. I wish I could find another book like it right now.
