I realize this isn't as glorious as it could be, but I think I need to read Faulkner. AS I Lay Dying? Go Down Moses? A Light In August? Any of those jump out at you?
I think Absalom, Absalom is a great book with some weighty themes. As I've read it twice, though, I'm open to some new Faulkner. The three-page sentence, anyone?
I could go with Faulkner. I've read The Sound and the Fury, Light in August, and As I Lay Dying; but all were quite some time ago. I wouldn't really mind re-reading them; but I'd prefer reading something I've not read before.
Actually, after reading this http://momentarytaste.blogspot.com/2010/01/reprint-on-as-i-lay-dying.html I'm almost sold on As I lay Dying. Give me another minute to think about it.

I'm thinking A Light in August.
Anyone opposed?
